Due Back...

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become. -C.S Lewis

Swimming Across by Andrew S. Grove. The author of this book fled Hungary right after the revolution in 55. It's a good book and gives you a glimpse of life under a communist gov't.

The Long Walk: The True Story of a Trek to Freedom by Slavomir Rawicz. This is one of Jeremiah's favorite books. It was on his paperback wish list for a long time so when we finally recieved a copy I decided to read it. The author tells his story of his incredible escape from a Soviet prison camp in Siberia. It is a remarkable story!
