Due Back...

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become. -C.S Lewis

Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I actually started this book before but didn't finish it.

Shortcuts to a Perfect Sewing Pattern by Rusty Bensussen.

How to Make Sewing Patterns by Donald H. McCunn. I want to take that next step in sewing where I can alter patterns, combine patterns, and even make my own patterns.

Power Sewing Step-By-Step by Sandra Betzina. I like Sandra Betzina. I have checked this book out before, but it is so full of good info that wanted to go thru it again.

Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting. I have SO MUCH scrap fabric that I don't want to just throw away, so i'm going to start putting quilt squares together.

I love quilting and happened on this the other day on HGTV and as soon as you said you had scraps I thought you might find this fun...

it's 3D quilting in the form of little houses. I thought they would be kinda neat and unique for gifts at Christmas. With me, now is the time that I would have to start them to get them done in time! :)

Our new library opens here in a month. I can't wait! We haven't been to the library since we moved at the beginning of the summer. I didn't even know you had this little blog here until today! I am an avid reader so I was glad to find it.
