Due Back...

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become. -C.S Lewis

Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella. Her books are always good for making me laugh.

The Story Of My Life, An Afghan Girl on the Other Side of the Sky by Farah Ahmedi. Very good memoir. An amazing story.

A New Kind of Christian by Brian D. McLaren. If your curious about the "emergent church" movement, this is a good book. Lots of philosophy in it. I disagree with a lot, yet it is very thought provoking and mind stretching.

The Forbidden by Beverly Lewis. This was the sequel to The Parting.

Quaker Summer by Lisa Samson. This wasn't a bad book, but I really had to push myself to finish it. I think the story is relevant, but it just wasn't a page turner.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Myer. The final book in the Twilight series. I was not disappointed. She tied it up so nicely.
