Due Back...

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become. -C.S Lewis

Barefoot Heart: Stories of a Migrant Child by Elva Trevino Hart. This was a pretty good memoir.

Rumspringa: To Be or Not to Be Amish by Tom Shachtman. This was a really good book about both the Amish custom of Rumspringa and the Amish in general.

Intern: A Doctor's Initiation by Sandeep Jauhar. I love books written by doctors about medical school, internship and residency. This was a bit darker than other similar books, and the author often questions his choice of career and certain things about the field of medicine in general.

The Longing by Beverly Lewis. This was the third and final book in "The Courtship of Nellie Fisher" trilogy. It was a good series.

Shopaholic Takes Manhattan by Sophie Kinsella. This is the second book in the shopaholic series. I have checked the library for this so many times and finally got it! At first it was a little over the top, but she toned it down a bit and it ended up being an okay read.

Multiple Choice by Claire Cook. This was a cutesy book about a mother and daughter who end up going to college at the same time. Have you ever read one of those short stories that are in Family Circle (I think that's the magazine that has short stories)? Well, this was like a really looong short story.
