Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. This was a behemoth of a book, about 1000 pages. It was a good medieval epic story.
Before Green Gables by Budge Wilson. I was quite skeptical about this book, but it was really good. The author stayed true to L.M Montgomery's style (minus a few things).
Rosie by Anne Lamont. I've heard a lot about this author so I thought I would try one of her books. Eh. Not that great.
Meet the Austins by Madeline L'Engle. Very good. This book introduces the Austins, who are the main family in many of her books. I would of loved her books when I was younger.
The Bronze Bow by Elizabeth George Speare. I picked this out because it was a Newberry winner. Boy was I surprised to find it was set in Jerusalem during the life of Christ! It was pretty good.
