Due Back...

Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become. -C.S Lewis

I purchased a few sewing books from ebay and amazon.

Sewing With Sergers by Gail Brown and Pati Palmer

The New Creative Serging Illustrated by Pati Palmer, Gail Brown and Sue Green.

I didn't realize it, but the second book contains most of the info from the first book also.

It's been awhile since I updated this blog.

Let's see....here are a couple books I read since my last post.

Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella

Two Little Girls In Blue by Mary Higgins Clark (actually, I didn't finish this book. I gave it to my dad to read before I finished it)

And a great book about using your overlock machine (a type of sewing machine). This was a good book. Next time I'm at the library I'm going to have to jot down the title so I can see if I can find it on ebay.

When I was in the UP last month visiting my family I scored some great books from my dad and sister.

Silent Partner by Jonathan Kellerman

State of Fear by Michael Crichton

Expiration Date by Eric Wilson

The Innocent Man by John Grisham

Escape by Lorena McCourtney

Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller (recently purchased from e-bay)

I'm sure it will be a long while before I get to reading all these books. Not to mention I have a growing list of books I want to check out from the library.
